1. What We Collect

We collect information you provide directly:

2. How We Use Your Data

3. Lead Data

Lead data you upload (names, phone numbers, emails) is used solely to make calls on your behalf. We do not sell, rent, or share this data with third parties. Lead data is stored in our secure database (Supabase/PostgreSQL with encryption at rest) and is accessible only to you and our platform services.

4. Call Recordings and Transcripts

Calls are recorded and transcribed to enable lead scoring and booking extraction. Recordings are stored by Twilio and linked from our database. Transcripts are stored in our database. Both are accessible only to you within your dashboard.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate the platform:

Each provider processes data as necessary to deliver their service, under their own privacy policies.

6. Google API Services and Calendar Data

Alex AI offers an optional Google Calendar integration. When you connect your Google account, the following applies:

What we access. With your explicit permission, Alex AI requests access to your Google Calendar via the calendar.events scope. This allows Alex AI to create calendar events (appointment bookings) on your behalf when a lead agrees to a meeting during an AI call.

Why we need it. The sole purpose of calendar access is to automatically schedule appointments that leads agree to during an AI-assisted call, so you do not have to book them manually.

What we do not access. We do not read, modify, or delete existing calendar events. We do not access any other Google services (Gmail, Drive, Contacts, etc.). We only write new events to the calendar you explicitly authorise.

How calendar data is stored. We store only the OAuth tokens necessary to create events on your behalf (encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM). We store the event details (date, time, lead name, phone number) in our database so they appear in your Alex AI dashboard under Upcoming Meetings. We do not retain any data read from your calendar.

Who we share it with. Your Google Calendar data is never sold, rented, shared with, or transferred to any third party for any purpose other than creating the event itself via the Google Calendar API.

Revoking access. You can disconnect your Google account at any time from Settings → Integrations inside Alex AI. You can also revoke access directly from your Google Account permissions page. After revocation, no further events will be created and your OAuth tokens are deleted from our system within 24 hours.

Limited Use disclosure. Alex AI's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google Calendar data is used only to provide and improve the calendar booking feature described above, and for no other purpose.

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time from Settings, which permanently removes all your data including leads, call records, and transcripts.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

9. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption in transit, AES-256-GCM encryption for stored credentials, and Supabase Row Level Security. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt and never stored in plain text.

10. Cookies

We use localStorage (not cookies) to store your authentication token. No third-party tracking cookies are used.

11. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy. We will notify you of significant changes via email.
